MANOEL ISLAND MASTERPLAN

Engagement Programme

The Masterplan for the restoration and redevelopment of Manoel Island has now been submitted to the Environment and Resources Authority for Environmental Impact Assessment evaluation and also the Planning Authority for its consideration.

As part of this process there will be a period of public consultation by the Environment and Resources Authority and the Planning Authority with the local community. MIDI is committed to supporting this process and will make information about the proposed development accessible on this website as well as via a series of public exhibitions in November and December.

The will be a public exhibition on Manoel Island from the 17th November and ending 1rd December (10am-4pm Monday-Sunday). The exhibition will then be moved to the Pjazza at Tigné Point and remain on site from 4th December until 15th December (10am-4pm Monday-Sunday). For exact location on Manoel Island, please see the map and address below.

After these dates, the information will be available to view by appointment at MIDI’s offices on Manoel Island.

Both the website and the exhibition will showcase key elements of the Masterplan, detail the investment already made and explain the benefits that will be delivered both for the local community and Malta more widely.
